(ENGLISH VERSION? YOU’LL FIND IT BY SCROLLING DOWN) TENT huis voor hedendaags circus in Amsterdam lanceert een open call voor circusmakers met hun praktijk in Nederland.
Voor de zeventiende keer is het podium van Back to Base een vrijplaats voor artiesten die een act of fragment van maximaal 10 minuten willen testen voor publiek en professionals.
TENT beperkt de benodigdheden op het podium tot een minimum, de focus ligt op artistieke kwaliteit en inhoud: Back to Base.
De organisatie roept circusmakers op die al even bezig zijn, net zijn afgestudeerd of nog in opleiding zijn. Ook podiumkunstenaars met affiniteit met circus zijn welkom. Iedere deelnemer aan het open podium ontvangt een dag gage (CAO conform) en reiskostenvergoeding. Bij twijfel over de technische criteria, kun je contact opnemen met Silvy Hendriks, silvy@tent.eu.

TENT huis voor hedendaags circus is een productiehuis. Zij vormen een hechte community met hun makers en zetten zich in voor een bloeiend circusklimaat. Ze stimuleren en steunen circustalent in Nederland in verschillende stadia van hun ontwikkeling.

Als je je aanmeldt, zorg er dan voor dat je aanwezig kunt zijn op zaterdag 5 april, zowel overdag als ’s avonds. Het formulier kan in het Nederlands of Engels worden ingevuld. In geval van selectie worden de ingezonden teksten en foto’s – in overleg – gebruikt als basis voor de promotie van Back to Base #17.

TENT house for contemporary circus in Amsterdam launches an open call for circus makers with their practice in the Netherlands. For the seveneenth time, the Back to Base stage is a breeding ground for artists who want to test an act or fragment of maximum 10 minutes in front of an audience and professionals. They keep the stage requirements to a minimum; the focus is on artistic quality and content: Back to Base.
TENT calls on circus artists who have been working for a while, have just graduated or are still in training. Also performing artists with affinity to circus are welcome. Each participant of the open stage receives a daily fee (according to the Collective Labour Agreement) and a compensation for travel expenses.
